About Me

Every moment holds a story waiting to be told. Every story can show who you are and what others can learn from you. Let’s tell yours.

I started my “writing career” when I was 4 and ran my own “newspaper”. It wasn’t much about news, as you can guess. It featured what I imagined as the day-to-day life of the cats in my neighbourhood, the struggles between strays and pets.

In school, I was the short girl sitting at the back of the classroom, so I could write stories when I should be listen to my teacher.

Thanks to this strategy, I completed a young adult novel when I was 13, consulting psychologists and lawyers, turning my classmates into beta readers. It has never seen the light of the day, and, probably, it never will.

But it encouraged me to send my stories to the world — and one was published in an anthology, and another was awarded a second place in a competition.

Thankfully, despite the amount of time I spent writing in class, my grades remained good enough to get me into university. In Brazil, we don’t have creative writing degrees, so a BSc. in Communications with a major in Journalism was the next best thing.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I developed an early appreciation for the power of storytelling and its role in business.

I guess this why, when I went to university, I ended up with a BSc. in Communications and an MBA in Marketing.

For 15 years, I worked as a journalist for a major newspaper and as a marketing/public relations executive for corporate, public and private organisations.

I supported marketing strategies, planned and implemented campaigns to attract audiences, strengthen brands, and increase revenue. I’ve learned to collect, organise, adapt, analyse, and deliver the information that your customers want in the format they want.

For the past 10 years, as a sole trader, I’ve helped solopreneurs, creators, and small business owners clarify their message, reach the right audience, and achieve their goals.

Why should you contract my services?

1 – You’ll have a comprehensive skill set at your disposal: public relations, journalism, search engine optimisation (SEO), data analysis, project management, and user experience.

2 – I only take on a limited number of clients so that I can fully dedicate myself to their business.

3 – Despite being an independent contractor, you’ll see me as part of your team, and we will succeed together.

4 – This isn’t a side gig for me. I’ve been a full-time sole trader since 2015.

5 – I don’t outsource any step of my process, except the proofreading of long pieces occasionally.

6 –  I am aware that you know more about your goals, business and customers than I do. I am happy to take on board your guidelines and suggestions.

On the other hand, I believe you expect me to advise you accordingly. I’ll let you know if your ideas might have an undesired impact.
